With a solid academic foundation in Construction Engineering and a wealth of experience as a skilled Freelance 3D Artist, my expertise lies in the art of 3D modeling and rendering, specifically tailored to the world of Lighting Design.

My academic career summary
I am currently a 38th cycle PhD student at the School of Design of the Politecnico di Milano. I am also coordinator and lecturer of the core module of the Master in Lighting Design and Technologies at PoliMi.
Over the years, I have worked as a freelance 3D artist and have also been a lecturer of AutoCad and 3DSMax in private training companies. I have developed skills in 3D modeling and rendering.
My main areas of interest are 2D CAD design, BIM, and computer graphics applied to project visualization and lighting design.
Research
Principal research interests
My research is multidisciplinary, in which lighting design and color management play a key role in the context of interior design and architecture. A particular focus is on the accurate representation of materials and the creation of photorealistic and photometrically correct simulations.
Since 2022, I have been a member of the Gruppo del Colore Associazione Italiana Colore.
Teaching
Courses and teaching activities
After graduation, I got involved in teaching activities, first as an assistant and, since 2009, as an adjunct professor in the three-year degree courses of the School of Design of the Politecnico di Milano.
Besides institutional teaching, I am also involved in the teaching and organizational activities of continuing education courses and master’s degree programs.
